About Us

Built on the idea that denim should fit you first.

A small, made-to-order denim studio — no warehouses, no standard sizing.

Why we started Denim Designs

Standard jean sizing forces everyone into a handful of fixed cuts — a "32x32" from one brand rarely matches another, and no size chart accounts for your actual proportions. Denim Designs was started to solve that problem directly: every pair is cut from the customer's own measurements, not a size label.

We're a small, made-to-order operation. Nothing is pre-cut or held in warehouse inventory. When an order comes in, it's built from scratch — fabric selected, pattern cut to size, and finishes applied by hand — then shipped once it's done.

What "custom" means here

Customization runs through every layer of the garment, not just the size:

Fit & Style

Slim, straight, relaxed or bootcut jeans; chino, cutoff or Bermuda shorts.

Fabric

Raw indigo, stonewash, black, white or selvedge denim in a range of weights.

Finish

Stitching color, rivet hardware, hem style, distressing level and patch type.

How orders are made

Once a configuration and set of measurements are submitted, the order moves to cutting and construction. Because each garment is made individually, production and shipping take longer than off-the-shelf retail — customers are shown expected timelines during checkout.

A student business project

Denim Designs is a business and marketing plan developed as part of a school commerce project. This site is a working prototype of the ordering experience — the product catalog, pricing and fulfillment process described here are illustrative rather than a live retail operation.
